Disqualified *
Candidate Burnside, who took no
contributions, and made no expenditures, was disqualified from
the 2006 Election for Utah House District 15.
Burnside was disqualified for filing his
financial disclosure report late.
In spite of the fact that Burnside was
recently hospitalized, and while there, he was given the wrong
medication twice. This medication caused confusion, memory
loss, and made walking difficult for Burnside, causing him to
miss the 15 September deadline by one day.
Lt. Governor Gary Herbert says he has no
digression in the matter and jumped at the chance to
disqualify Burnside. Herbert is a Republican while Burnside
was a "Third Party" candidate for the Personal Choice Party.

have the right to alter or reform their government as the public welfare may
